Make Puffy Stickers
Make your own puffy stickers for scrapbook pages, etc.
Open the image or clipart you want to use for the puffy sticker. CTL-D to duplicate and close the original. Make sure it is merged with a white background.
First expand the canvas to have plenty of room to work. Go to Adjust, Expand canvas:
When the pop-up menu opens, use these settings:
Use the magic wand.
Click anywhere on the canvas in the white area to select, then R/C and choose Invert:
R/C on the active object and choose Expand/Shrink.
When the pop-up menu opens use these settings and click OK.
Your image should look so:
R/C, Convert to object, then on the Menu bar, go to Web, Button Designer, Any Shape:
In the menu box, click the second tab and use these settings and hit OK.
R/C, choose Shadow and use these settings:
You should now have this:
Now, if you should use an image that won't work with the magic wand such as this one, there is an alternative method to make a puffy sticker.
Use the first two steps above to duplicate, then expand the canvas.
Use the Lasso tool with these settings:
Make a selection around the image, then click on the check mark to finish.
R/C, convert to object, then follow the steps above with the Button Designer and a Shadow.
